This style of yoga practice is more flowing and dynamic where we combine movements with breathing control and the exercises can be adapted for different ability levels. 
Beginners are welcome at this class but a reasonable level of fitness is required. For more advanced practitioners, more challenging options can be offered but the main aim is to increase suppleness, strength and balance alongside bringing a sense of calm to the mind. All classes are warm, friendly and encouraging and yoga is the perfect practice to keep well. 

Pilates with Katie

Suitable for Beginners & Intermediates

Standing and seated exercise to improve balance, strength and posture. With the aim of making everyday activities such as walking housework and gardening easier and preventing falls. This class will work on all the key elements needed for better balance and ease of movement.

Pilates – Mat Based, absolute beginners with Katie

Suitable for those new to Pilates

Improve your posture, balance and wellbeing.  Maintain a peaceful mind and feel in tune with your body.  Learn to engage your core muscles and use the correct breathing techniques to enhance their effectiveness.  Use Pilates moves to stabilise and strengthen your pelvic, core and abdominal muscles and increase posture, flexibility and mobility, as well as begin to build your muscular strength and maintain bone health.  This is a structured yet relaxed class for absolute beginners or those looking for a very gentle Pilates class with a range of adaptions and modifications available where required.
